New Here?

Here is everything you need to know before you arrive this Sunday.

What to Expect

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at First Phoenix a great one.

If you’re new to our church, we have a place for you! Join us in person or online this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We also have a Traditional Worship gathering at 9:00am and a Spanish speaking Service at 12:30pm.

Sunday morning gatherings are encouraging, relaxed, and comfortable. Wear what you like, sit where you like, and be who you are! We meet for about an hour with some time dedicated to singing songs that praise God and to hearing a thought provoking message from the Bible that is practical and applicable to everyday life.

What about my Kids?

On Sunday mornings, you can find our kids check in station right inside our church lobby. First Phoenix Kids starts at 11:00am and is for children birth to 4th grade. Our kids ministry is a fun and safe environment for your children to learn about Jesus while you participate in our worship gathering

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are your services?

Our services last about an hour. We start with live music then go into an engaging message from Pastor Bruce.

During the service, feel free to participate however you’d like. If you want to sit down and listen, feel free to do so. If you want to stand or raise your hands to sing, you can do that too.

What kind of music do you sing?

Every week that we gather our aim is to sing songs that glorify God and shape us into the kind of people he wants us to be. Our musical styles reflects the diversity of our church. At 9:00am we typically sing hymns in a traditional music style and are lead by our choir and orchestra. At 11:00 we sing hymns and modern worship songs and are lead by our Worship band.

What does First Phoenix Believe?

Above everything else, we are followers of Jesus. We seek to live like he did – to love God with our our whole selves and to love our neighbor as ourself. We also believe that the Bible is God’s true and perfect Word. It is our road map for navigating this journey we call life. You can see more about what we believe on our about page.
